On November 25, 2009, I was sitting in a room at Metropolitan Title scared out of my mind. Not too sure I knew what I was doing or if I was doing the right thing. About to tell a bank that I would gladly pay them something like $150,000 over the course of the next 33 years, if they would give me money to buy a house.
Nervous with anticipation and a tinge of fear, I signed the documents that said I'd gladly make a monthly mortgage payment.

Owning a home is so worth it though! Your beautiful children will wake up every day knowing that they are taken care of and that they have stability, and you have something you can take pride in!
ReplyDeleteI completely agree! I was reading something recently about kids who move a lot when they're younger and the potential for self-esteem problems and such. I'm sure that we'll move at some point, but I don't want to be bounding them around every couple of years.
